Cristal Pro cryolipolysis: reducing localised fat without surgery

DELEO’s Cristal Pro cryolipolysis is a medical approach to reshaping the body without invasive procedures.

A stomach that will not shift? Love handles you would rather do without? Difficulty getting back into shape after a pregnancy?

Cryolipolysis is a way of reducing stubborn pockets of fat without surgery.

Why choose DELEO's Cristal Pro cryolipolysis?

Visible results, no surgery

Love handles reduced and the stomach flatter, with no scalpel and no recovery time. Results from cryolipolysis become visible after 6 weeks, without going anywhere near an operating theatre.

Aimed at stubborn fat

Pockets of fat that resist diet and exercise are a real difficulty. Cryolipolysis targets those pockets specifically.

Safe and comfortable

Cryolipolysis is non-invasive, so it carries none of the risks that go with surgery. The session lasts about an hour, during which you can read, rest, or simply sit still while the device does its work.

Adapted to you

You choose the areas to be treated, and the procedure is set up around what you are trying to achieve.

Straight back to normal

There is no significant recovery time. You can return to your usual activities immediately after the session, which makes it a practical option for a busy schedule.

It starts with a consultation

Everything begins with a consultation. We look at whether cryolipolysis suits what you want to change, talk through your goals, and take you through exactly how the procedure works.

Choosing where to have it done

The result depends a great deal on who carries out the treatment. Dr Ghali’s practice in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence can take you through it.

Common questions

What to know before you decide.

Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical method of fat reduction that uses cold to target and eliminate fat cells. It rests on the fact that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the surrounding tissue. During the session the fat cells are cooled to specific temperatures, which causes them to crystallise; the body then clears them naturally over the weeks that follow.

Yes, cryolipolysis is generally regarded as safe when carried out by qualified practitioners. Clinical studies have shown it to be effective at reducing localised fat deposits. Results vary from one person to another, and more than one session is occasionally needed — though on average a single session is enough.

Cryolipolysis is approved for specific areas where localised fat is common: the abdomen, the love handles, the thighs, the arms, the back and under the chin. It is worth discussing your particular case in consultation to establish whether cryolipolysis is the best option for a given area.

The usual side effects are redness, bruising, tingling or temporary numbness in the treated area. These are generally mild and resolve on their own. A consultation beforehand with a qualified practitioner helps keep the risks to a minimum.

Results are not immediate: the body clears the crystallised fat cells gradually. The first changes appear at 6 weeks, and the final result is visible at three months. Some patients need 2 sessions to reach what they are aiming for.
